Stalks of Gold Cover Reveal

In preparation for the release of my first book in January, I’ve been working on a series of blog posts to share some information and hopefully get you all excited for it! Kicking off this series is this post, the cover reveal!

All the credit for this stunning cover goes to my cover designer, Karri Klawiter at ArtbyKarri.com. She did a fantastic job bringing it to life. It is exactly what I envisioned for Stalks of Gold.

In case you didn’t know, Stalks of Gold is the first book in my Bewitching Fairy Tales Series which is a series of high-fantasy, young adult, fairy tale retelling. Stalks of Gold kicks off the series starting with a combination of Rumpelstiltskin and Rapunzel.

Our leading lady, Aurelia, is featured on this cover, and is exactly how I pictured her all the way down to the signature braid. I also love the spinning wheel and the tower behind Aurelia that are both such crucial aspects to the story.

Plus, the golds and oranges really pulls it all together for me, and not just because I personally love those colors, but they just feel right since there’s a huge emphasis on gold. I really wanted to make sure the cover leaned into the Rumpelstiltskin aspect, which, if you’ve read the blurb here, is featured heavily in the beginning. Don’t worry, the Rapunzel aspect is still there, but you’ll have to read to find out!
