Considering Prince Cynrik has never had to genuinely apologize for anything in his life ever before, a year and a half working his first isn’t too bad. He’d have it done already if could just figure out… how. He’s never had to be genuine to anyone in his life before. He’s also never had to be useful before. Now he has to figure out both. If he doesn’t apologize to his younger brother and mean it, his sister-in-law just might turn him into an ice sculpture. Not something Cynrik really wants to experience twice.

And he has doesn’t figure out some way to be useful enough for his eldest brother’s tastes. And according to King Besart, the only way Cynrik can be useful is with his hand in marriage. Cynrik had been content to dote on his nephew and avoid writing Sterling’s letter, but now he’s got to find a way to keep Besart from selling him off to the highest bidder. If not, he’ll never have the chance to experience true love… if he’s even capable of it.
