Liora has spent her whole life losing family, and there was one truth she knew and held above all else. Nothing mattered more in the world than family. So when her stepmother decided to take advantage of the opportunity to their lives around and start to transition to a more honest living, Liora was more than happy to do her part. Even if that part is mind-numbingly boring and Liora is absolutely no good at it. Her stepmother and older stepsister are busy ensuring they still eat as they shifted their business model. Her younger stepsister is busy creating the enchanted matches, so Liora is the only one left who could work the stall.

So that is what she does. Day after day. That’s okay because even though she never sells anything, she’s still doing her part. And she makes up for it by cleaning and cooking and looking after her younger stepsister.

And after a year of living in Avia, no one has remembered her.

It’s almost like Liora isn’t really there at all.
